NOTICE FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF ITEMS TO THE STORES DEPARTMENT - PORT QASIM AUTHORITY (PQA)

1. Applications are invited from reputed firms / companies / partnerships / sole proprietorships for pre-qualification to supply a list of items to the Stores Department at the Port Qasim Authority (PQA or the Authority) as mentioned hereunder.

Fire Fighting Equipment    Furniture & Fixtures    Computer & Accessories

All types of Ropes pertaining to Crafts, Polypropylene Rope etc. (all sizes)    Tyres & Tubes    Electrical Items

Electronic Items    Lube Oil    Cleaning Material

Printing    Paint/Marine Paint    General Items

All kinds of Generators    Stationery    Batteries

Water Pumps (Electrical & Diesel)    Uniforms    Off-Set Papers

2. The interested Multinationals/National/Firms/Authorized dealers and suppliers may obtain pre-qualification documents/ applications form containing the evaluation criteria from the office of the Director (Stores) PQA on payment of Rs 500/-(Five Hundred Only) non-refundable in the shape of Pay Order/ Bank Draft in favour of PQA on any working day during the office hours upto 1200 hours 20th November, 2013.

3. The pre-qualification documents are to be submitted in the office of Director (Stores) (PQA) by 1200 hours on 16th December, 2013. The documents Shall be opened on the same day at 1230 hours in Director (Stores) office in PQA in the presence of representatives of the applicants who may like to be present. The documents received after the due date and time will not be entertained.

4. Pre-qualification letter will only be issued to applicants that are pre-qualified by the Authority after examination of documents/information submitted by them

5. Submission of application form and pre-qualification documents do not automatically register applicant with the PQA.

6. PQA Authority reserves the right to reject any or all applications as per PPRA Rules 2004 and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. Authority's decision in this respect shall be final and binding on all firms/companies.

7. The period of pre-qualification shall be 2 years, which can be extended for one year on the satisfactory services effective from the issuance of pre-qualification letter.

8. Applicant must specify relevant items on documents as co well as envelopes they are interested in, In case of more than one items they must submit a separate application.
