Tenders - Works - EOI - Consultancy Services Urban Policy Unit - KPK

The Urban Policy Unit (UPU) has been established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the mandate to work on integrated and strategic urban planning and management.

UPU now intends to pre qualify reputed firms for Consultancy Services for Feasibility, Detailed Design and Detailed Construction Supervision in the following categories/thematic areas. The pre qualification of the consultants is intended to be valid for three years for the undermentioned projects subject to revision by the government as and when required. This shortlisting will be valid for government and donor funded projects.

1.                   T own Planning. Urban Design and Implementation.

2.                   Water and Sanitation works.

3.                   Roads and Bridges including non vehicular traffic i.e Pedestrian walkways and Cycle lanes. Bus stops etc.

4.                   Urban Design. Landscaping and Architectural Beautification including Parks. Waterfronts, Water parks, walking tracks, street furniture, etc.

5.                   Buildings and structures such as Parking Plazas. Museums. Expo Centre. Office Complexes, Public Toilets etc.

6.                   Cultural and Historical assets restoration and preservation.

7.                   Monuments, Murals, Entrance Gates and Artistic Works, and tourists sites development.

8.                   Afforestation. Horticulture and Arboriculture etc.

9.                   Security Check Posts.

10.                Renewable Energy Systems (Solar, wind. Geothermal, etc).

The Interested construction firms are invited to submit applications (3 copies) for each category separately. The EOI should mention the general profile of the firm, information on relevant experience of work, CVs of personnel available for the assignments, with all other requisite information. The last date for receipt of EOI is 8th November. 2013 at 1100 Hours. The hard copies should be sent on the address given below and also soft copies to be emailed on procurement@urbanpolicyunit.gkp.pk.

The outer envelop must be clearly marked in bold "Expression of Interest for Feasibility, Detailed Design and Detailed Construction Supervision”, with category /thematic area mentioned
