INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION

The superintending Engineer, Khairpur Irrigation Circle Sukkur intends to invite separate applications from the reputed and experienced Contractors/Films for the fol­lowing every RRIDS Programme.

1.                                 

i) Scope: Revamping/Rehabilitation of grinding & painting gates of main Barrage Sukkur

ii)         Estimate Cost : Rs. 245.094 Million

iii)        Project Period : 12 Months

(PEC License, category C-3 & above) discipline - ME06.

2.                                  

i) Scope: Revamping/Rehabilitation of grinding & painting gates of canals at left bank Sukkur

ii)         Estimate Cost : Rs. 66.693 Million

iii)        Project Period : 12 Months

(PEC License, category C-4 & above) discipline-ME06.

3.                                  

i) Scope: Revamping/Rehabilitation             of             grinding & painting gates of canals at right bank Sukkur

ii)         Estimate Cost : Rs. 41.961 Million

iii)        Project Period : 12 Months

(PEC License, category C-4 & above) discipline-ME06.

a)              Valid registration with relevant Tax authorities and PEC Islamabad for the year 2013 in relevant category and dis­cipline mentioned above may obtain the prequalification documents for every work above from the office of the Superintending Engineer, Khairpur Irrigation Circle Sukkur up to 11-11-2013 at 2.00 p.m.

b)              The interested Contractors/Firms can obtain the pre­qualification documents on payment of a non-refundable fee Rs. 3000/- during office hours on any working day. The documents if requested by mail the same will be dis­patched by registered mail for which cost of Rs. 500/- will be borne by the applicant in favor of Executive Engineer, Barrage Division Sukkur under no circumstances the un­dersigned will be responsible for the delivery or loss of the documents so mailed.

c)              A minimum requirements for prequalification will be to have successfully completed as prime contractors, the execution of at least one project of a similar nature and complexity comparable to the proposed contract within the last five years.

d)              The applicant must respond to all questions and pro­vide complete information as advised in these docu­ments. Any lapses in providing essential information may result in disqualification of the applicant under relevant provision of SPPRA Rule 2010.

e)              The documents duly filled and attached with relevant certificate must be reached in sealed envelop by hand or through registered mail on the below mentioned address on or before 12-11 -2013 at 2.00 p.m.

f)               The Superintending Engineer, Khairpur Irrigation Circle Sukkur may reject any or all application subject to the relevant provisions of SPPRA Rule 2010.

g)              The result of the evaluation of pre-qualification docu­ments will be informed in due course of time. The Con­tractors/Firms who pre-qualified under this process will be invited to Bid.
