INVITATION FOR BIDS(IFB)
Procurement of Security Equipment for Teaching Hospital, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Procurement Cell Directorate General Health Services Health Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
(1) The Procurement Cell, Director General Health Services, Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids from the bidders to procure Security Equipment to meet the security requirements of the Teaching Hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
(2) Detailed description and quantities of security equipment is given in the Standard Bidding Documents.
(3) Interested bidders may download the Standard Bidding Documents from http://www.healthkp.gov .pk/govttender.asp on the date of publication of this IFB or may obtain the same by emailing at dghskp@gmail.com. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 21st October, 2013 (Monday) at 10.00 A.M in the Conference room of Director General Health Service's office, Peshawar.
(4) Bidding will be conducted through Single Stage -Two Envelopes Bidding procedure as per Rule 40 of the NWFP Procurement of Goods, Works and Services Rules-2003.
(5) Bids must be delivered at the address given below at or before 11:00 hours on 7th November, 2013 (Thursday) and shall be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 11:30 hours on the same date in the Conference Room of Director General Health Services office, Peshawar.
(6) Bid Security amounting to 2% of the total bid amount shall be submitted by the firms in the shape of Pay Order (P0)/Demand Draft (DD)/Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in the name of Director General Health Services, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is required to be submitted separately in an envelope along with the financial bids. A certificate to the effect that the firm has attached the requisite bid security with the financial bid, shall be submitted akmg-with the technical bid. Late bids will be treated as non-responsive.
(7) The Bidders are requested to give their best and final unit prices as per the Specifications in Part-Two: Section-IV of the Standard Bidding Documents as no negotiations on the prices are allowed, The bid must be valid up to 120 days from the date of bid submission.
Note: The Competent Authority has the right to reject any or all bids by assigning reason under Rule 32 of the NWFP procurement of Goods, Works and Seisyices Rules 2003.
