TENDER NOTICE
Sealed Tenders are invited from the Contractors who are Registered with Communication and Works Deptt of KPK for the “ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF ELECTRICAL WORKS IN L.R.H PESHAWAR” as detailed below for the 2013-14, which should reach the office of the undersigned up to 04/11/2013 before 11 am and will be opened on the same day at 12:00 noon. If the Contractors fail to submit the Bid on the said date then next date will be 06-11-2013 (2nd), and 09-11-2013 (3rf), for submission and Opening same time as mentioned earlier.

1. Application for issuance for tender forms should be written only on
pad of the contractor and must be accompanied by the following
documents:-
a. Registration Certificate with C&W Deptt
b. Renewal receipt of C&W for the year 2013-2014
c. NTN and NIC
d. Professional Tax Certificate for the year 2013-14
2. Tender fonns will be issued personally to the Contractor, on payment as per Govt Prescribed rates.
3. Application for tender forms will be received up to 02-11-2013 till 2:30 PM
4. Tender forms will be issued after checking the original Documents.
5. Detailed Statements (BOQ) and tender forms can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Director (Works) / Assistant Electrical Engineer LRH, Peshawar.
6. Conditional doubtful. Incomplete and without Call deposit tender will be rejected Only fresh call deposit, deposited in Bank of Khyber, Peshawar will be accepted.
7. The Contractor will have to write the rates on tender form in Digits as well as in Words. In case of any cutting or re-writing in Tender form, the form will be rejected.
8. The undersigned reserves rights of accepting or rejecting any tender without assigning any reason.
9. Contractors whose tenders are accepted will be liable to pay all government taxes applicable.
10. All the Machinery and Material, shall be arranged by the bidders and the required tests of material shall be carried out on the cost of contractors through reputable laboratories.
11. The successful bidder quoting rate lower than 10% below the tender price (Engineering estimate) shall have to deposit and additional sum equal to 8% of the tender price in the shape of deposit at call within 7 days after the accepting letter issued. In case failure by the due date, the earnest money (2%) already deposited will be forfeited in favour of the Government and the work will be put to retender, debarring the defaulter, and recommended him for blacklisting.
12. Other terms and conditions can be confirmed from the office of .Assistant Electrical Engineer LRH Peshawar on any working day.
13. The rates are based on the MRS-2013.
